From Jacob
Grass in west Pasco doesn't act like grass anywhere else. St. Augustine wants to be cut high and often through summer or it thins out and lets weeds in; Bahia handles neglect better but goes to seed fast in the rainy season if it's not kept on a real schedule. I mow to the grass, not a fixed height across every yard — that's the difference between a lawn that looks maintained and one that just got "cut."
Most of my weekly customers are homeowners in HOA communities around New Port Richey who got a violation notice once and don't want a second one, plus a handful of rental properties where the owner just wants it handled without a phone call every week. I show up on the same day each week, mow, edge the walks and driveway, blow off the hardscape, and I'm gone — no half-done edges, no clippings left on the sidewalk.
Who this is for
Homeowners who want a consistent, same-day-of-week mow without chasing anyone down, and rental/second-home owners in Pasco County who need it handled hands-off.
Worth knowing
If you want a one-time "tidy up before we sell" job instead of a standing schedule, that's fine too — just say so on the quote form and I'll price it as a one-time visit, not a weekly plan.
Pricing
Priced per visit based on lot size and how overgrown it is at the first cut — call or send a few photos through the quote form for a real number, no generic "starting at" teaser.
FAQ
Lawn Maintenance — FAQ
- How often do you mow in New Port Richey during summer?
- Weekly for most St. Augustine lawns May through September — the growth rate in Gulf Coast humidity means every-other-week mowing lets it get away from you and stresses the grass when it's finally cut back down. Bahia lawns can often go every 10–14 days.
- Do you bag clippings or mulch them?
- Mulch by default — it's better for St. Augustine and Bahia in our sandy soil, feeds nitrogen back in. I'll bag on request if you're dealing with a fungus issue or heavy thatch.
- My HOA requires a certain cut height — can you match it?
- Yes. Tell me the covenant height when you request a quote and I'll set the deck to it. Most Pasco HOAs want St. Augustine at 3.5–4 inches; I'll follow whatever yours specifies.
- What if it rains on my scheduled day?
- I push to the next dry day, usually within 24–48 hours during summer storm season. You won't get skipped for the week.
- Do you service properties in Trinity, Holiday, or Hudson too?
- Yes — see the full service area for west Pasco coverage. Response time and scheduling flexibility is best closest to New Port Richey.
